Kilchoman Cognac Cask Matured 2026 (50%)

De Kilchoman Cognac Cask Matured 2026 is een Islay single malt van de Kilchoman distilleerderij. Deze release heeft gerijpt in een combinatie van 33 first fill cognac barriques uit 2019. Die zijn in 2026 gebotteld op 50%, non chill filtered en zonder toevoeging van kleurstoffen, als een gelimiteerde small batch release.

Official tasting notes:

Nose: Ripe pears and apples, with peat smoke, honey sweetness, toasted nuts, and baking spices.

Palate: Buttery mouthfeel, with waves of baked fruit, honeycomb and salty sweetness.

Finish: Drying smoke with a lasting sweetness and mellow fruit notes.
